Privacy

Get Wiser Everyday keeps as little about you as it can. There are no ads, no trackers and no third-party analytics.

What we store

Your email address, the display name you choose, your level, and your password as a one-way hash (we can't read it). For each puzzle you open: when you opened it, how many tries you made, and when you solved it.

Why

Your email is used only to confirm your account and to reset your password. Your solve times build your streak. Your display name and time appear on the daily leaderboard. Your email never does. The site owner can see display names with puzzle results, to keep the puzzles at the right level.

Children

Children under 13 can't sign up themselves. A parent or guardian creates the account with their own email address and confirms it from their inbox. We never ask for a child's email, real name, age or school. Please pick a nickname as the display name, because it appears on the leaderboard. A parent can ask us to delete the account at any time (see below).

Cookies

One cookie keeps you logged in for 30 days. It holds a random code and nothing else. Logging out deletes it.

Other services

Fonts load from Google Fonts, which sees your IP address when it sends them. The site is hosted by HostGator.

Deleting your account

Email hello@getwisereveryday.com from the address you signed up with and we will delete your account and everything linked to it.
